Wed, 13th Apr 2022
FYI, this story is more than a year old

Commvault has announced it will merge its APJ and EMEA organisations into one organisation, known as its international region.

Commvault International will be led by senior vice president and general manager Marco Fanizzi, who has significantly expanded the business since his appointment as EMEA leader two years ago.

Commvault is a recognised global enterprise leader in intelligent data services across on-premises, cloud, and software as a service (SaaS) environments.

The new International region will comprise of more 150 national markets and will continue to deliver the world class support to all Commvault customers and partners consistently across all of those countries. All regions will continue to be represented directly to regional management level.

"As we begin our new financial year as a leader in a very competitive industry, we must remain focused on prioritising our investments on the ability to scale and accelerate our growth globally," says Commvault chief revenue officer, Riccardo Di Blasio.

"While geo-political and economic events still challenge the global economy, we can be assured that data management, protection and utilisation will only become more business critical for every organisation anywhere in the world," he says.

Marco Fanizzi, senior vice president and general manage at Commvault International, adds, "Our success as this integrated, International region will be built on celebrating, and equally representing the incredible diversity within our organisation, but based on the clear fact that each of our teams already share more similarities than differences especially in terms of proven business success and best practices."

The clear threat of cyber-attacks is obviously recognised by the Australian Federal Government as seen through its commitment of $9.9 billion over the next 10 years to develop adequate cybersecurity measures for the country. With these challenges being faced by every country in the world, Commvault is building flexibility to retain the consistent, repeatable growth it has seen from the APJ and EMEA regions.

David Rajkovic, Area Vice President Australia and New Zealand at Commvault International says, "Commvault has been building its presence in Australia for years and during that time we have developed trusted relationships with customers and partners across the country.

"We will continue to deliver the world class service that our customers expect and remain committed to building our presence and client relationships in a competitive industry," he says.

"This new International structure will allow us to scale our go-to-market initiatives across the world bringing benefits to our customers as well as our business in Australia and New Zealand."
