FYI, this story is more than a year old

Fastly has a new partner program that dramatically extends and simplifies the ability to provide high-value, complete solutions through its Global Partner Network.

“Our partners are critical to Fastly’s growth and success, so we’ve designed a program that makes it easier for them to win more business while ensuring customers get the value and quality they expect,” says Emily Friedberg, Group Vice President of Global Partnerships at Fastly.

“More than ever, customers are looking to deliver the fastest online experiences possible while also improving site performance, enhancing security, and empowering innovation at [a] global scale.

“That’s why we’ve made it simpler for partners to deliver a complete solution through Fastly’s edge cloud platform.”

The new program expands Fastly’s Global Partner Network through more flexibility, support and incentives to various partner types such as Value-Added Resellers (VARs), System Integrators (SIs), Managed Service Providers (MSPs and MSSPs), agencies and consultants.

At its foundation, the program is a new tiered model that provides training, marketing support, sales and enablement, as well as new, easier pricing and packaging options to simplify selling and servicing Fastly products.

The new approach intends to give partners additional benefits, incentives and rewards based on their investment and engagement with Fastly.

Fastly’s existing partners have already been enrolled in the program automatically and have access to resources and benefits on the company’s new partner portal.

Fastly provides a powerful and programmable edge cloud platform that assists some of the world’s major brands in providing the quickest online experiences possible while enhancing site performance, improving security and enabling innovation worldwide.

The company’s network architecture is one of the world’s fastest, which allows developers to provide secure websites and apps at a global scale quickly, fostering rapid time-to-market and exceptional cost savings.

Many well-known global companies use Fastly’s services to aid them in upgrading their internet experience.

This list includes Reddit, Pinterest, Stripe, Neiman Marcus, The New York Times, Epic Games and GitHub.

Fastly's customers in Australia and New Zealand include Freelancer, Kogan, Linktree, Nine, NRL, Radio New Zealand, Seven Network, Trademe and Vodafone.

“We’ve spent the past months structuring ourselves for growth and investing in capabilities to help partners be successful in Australia, New Zealand and beyond,” says Alan Chan, Head of Channel and Partnership ANZ, Fastly.

“The new program is another validation of our commitment to the channel community.  We are proud of the progress that we have made in the region and we look forward to accelerating growth with our partners this year.”
