Meet CA Technologies new APJ president
CA Technologies has unveiled its new president and general manager for its Asia Pacific and Japan business, Martin Mackay.
Mackay will take the reigns fro current president and GM Kenneth Arredondo, who has held the role since 2014. Arredondo will work directly with Mackay until the end of March 2017, at which point he will take on a new role within the company.
Mackay is tasked wit driving growth in the APJ region, by helping customers and partners leverage 'new business opportunities in the application economy'.
Based out of Singapore, Mackay will report directly to CA's global field operations president Adam Elster, and will be responsible for the management of all sale and business development across the region.
"We are pleased to have an executive of Martin's calibre join the team," comments Elster.
"I am confident that Martin will lead this team to new growth and to continue to help our customers and partners leverage IT to transform their business and create lasting value," he says.

Mackay joins the CA team with an impressive innings in the tech space, bringing with him almost 30 years of experience in multiple sectors of the technology industry.
He has led enterprise software, channel and inside sales teams in Europe, the US and APJ. His past experience includes leadership roles with major multi-nationals, including PeopleSoft/Oracle and Verisign. He has served as the CEO of Neverfail, a secure cloud solutions provider, and Calyx Managed Services, that he led to growth and profitability over an 18-month period.
