OC on the ball as HP's first ANZ distributor

07 Nov 2012

Observatory Crest is working with HP to become the first ANZ distributer of the vendor's Enterprise Security Products.

The company says it is expanding its distribution of HP ArcSight solutions to include HP EnterpriseView, as well as solutions spanning the HP Tipping Point and HP Fortify product lines.

The agreement puts Observatory Crest as the first ANZ distributor of HP Enterprise Security Products group’s entire range of enterprise security products.

“Today’s malicious attacks don’t threaten one part of the infrastructure at one time,” says Martin Christmas, director, Observatory Crest.

“IT teams have to be constantly vigilant of the entire hybrid environment including network access, cloud computing and mobile-enabled applications, to minimise harm from unlimited enterprise security threats.

“Simply put ‘What you don’t know, can hurt you.’  This is a constant headache, particularly for businesses that lack the comprehensive security tools to provide a single view of their IT infrastructure.

“HP’s solutions not only address this concern but provide businesses with the security intelligence to take a proactive approach to managing both external and internal threats and risks.

"Security now has to be at the core of an organisation."
