Visa and Sektor have entered into a partnership for the Sektor Hamilton Island Conference, set to take place 4–7 February 2026 in Australia.

Visa, through its Acceptance Solutions business, will act as a co-host for the conference, which brings together technology resellers and vendors from across both Australia and New Zealand.

According to both companies, the collaboration aims to foster discussion, networking, and new business opportunities within both Visa's and Sektor's networks. The focus will be on connecting with Sektor's reseller community and vendors who are influencing developments in the technology sector.

Visa's Acceptance Solutions suite will be highlighted at the event. The platform is built on open APIs and seeks to make payment acceptance more efficient and secure for businesses. It is designed to offer global reach, security, and adaptability for merchants and partners seeking improved payment experiences.

Sektor partners include businesses operating in retail, hospitality, mobile computing, and payments, and the company positions itself as a channel for introducing emerging technology to these sectors. The conference will provide a setting for Visa to connect with Sektor's partners and engage in conversations about business transformation in the payments field.

Kunal Chatterjee, Head of Acceptance Solutions Sales, Value-Added Services, Asia Pacific, said, "At Visa, we believe great partnerships are the foundation of innovation.

"Joining forces with Sektor – a company that truly understands the tech landscape and lives and breathes collaboration – opens new doors for delivering secure, scalable, next-gen payment solutions," he said.

Cameron Arnold, General Manager at Sektor Australia, commented, "Visa's participation in the Sektor Hamilton Island Conference isn't just about sponsorship – it's a convergence of vision. Both our organisations are focused on innovation, partner success, and creating tangible impact.

We also both know 'Payments' is the 'Next Big Thing' in the technology space. We're thrilled to collaborate and drive this new wave of success for our partner community," Arnold said.

The Sektor Hamilton Island Conference is structured to bring forward discussions on technological innovation and strategic collaboration. Attendees can expect sessions focused on the future of payments, new approaches to digital transformation, and opportunities to network with key figures in the technology and payments industries.

The partnership between Visa and Sektor is intended to create opportunities for partners and customers to adapt to changes in digital payments. Both organisations are seeking to enable more agile and resourceful commerce for their respective networks through this collaboration at the conference.
