Somar Digital launches TransitDash for optimised public transport

Somar Digital has recently introduced TransitDash, a new Software as a Service (SaaS) platform aimed at enhancing the management of public transport information.

A Printable Timetables feature that generates print-friendly timetables with advanced customisation options, simplifying the workflow for producing transit information for various signage and brochures.

The Service Alerts Wizard is a step-by-step tool for creating consistent passenger notifications and service alerts. This feature aims to reduce confusion and expedite disruption communications.

Transit operators can utilise the Live Tracking Map to monitor public transport vehicles in real-time. This tool provides visibility into delays, passenger capacity, and overall service performance.

A Digital Screens feature allows for the management and updating of digital departure screens across transit networks, offering passengers real-time information on any display.

The Cost of Journey Calculator provides detailed information on the cost and environmental impact of different travel choices for the same journey.

Moreover, custom Website and App Development services are available for transit agencies to offer real-time updates, journey planning, and seamless data integration for commuters.
