FYI, this story is more than a year old

Network threat detection and response company Vectra AI has today announced the appointment of Dee Clinton as head of Asia-Pacific partner sales.

Continuing its channel momentum, Vectra has also announced it has entered into a partnership with value-added distributor Netpoleon, as well as signed Australian partner SecureWare and New Zealand partner InPhySec, as it expands its go-to-market reach across the Asia-Pacific region.

Clinton brings to Vectra AI experience from prior sales, channel and alliance roles at Telstra, NTT Security and Microsoft.

Based in Sydney, Clinton is responsible for building and enabling the channel for Vectra AI across Asia-Pacific by deepening relationships with system integrators, consultancies and managed service providers.

A key focus for Clinton is also expanding the relationships with existing Vectra AI technology partners to deliver on customer commitment to reduce complexity and workload for security operations by enabling customers to better operationalise its investments.

“We have been delighted by the reception to our regional launch in August and the interest from partners and distributors who have identified the need for network threat visibility in the market,” says Clinton.

“Signing Netpoleon as our distributor and SecureWare and InPhySec as partners will enable us to address the growing demand for network detection and response in the cloud.

“We want to partner with organisations that can address our customers challenges including analyst workload, increased regulations, and the overall lack of threat visibility in the cloud,” she adds.

Netpoleon is a provider of integrated security, networking solutions and value-added services and partnering with Vectra will open up new opportunities in Asia-Pacific.

“As a value-added distributor of enterprise security solutions and services in Asia-Pacific, we know that the ability to detect and respond to cyberattacks in the network and cloud is an essential capability for security-conscious enterprises,” says Netpoleon ANZ regional director Paul Lim.

Adelaide-based SecureWare is a provider of information security solutions.

InPhySec is a leading New Zealand information, physical and cybersecurity company.

As the first Vectra AI partner in New Zealand, it will bring its Cognito platform to the region to enable enterprises to stop in-progress cyberattacks in the cloud.

“We are excited to partner with Vectra AI to bring its network detection and response technology Cognito to the New Zealand marketplace. It integrates well with our existing endpoint and cloud managed security services,” says InPhySec consulting partner Marc Barlow.
