11:11 Systems buys Ntirety in VMware cloud partner push
11:11 Systems has completed its acquisition of Ntirety, adding another managed and professional IT services firm to its VMware-focused portfolio and expanding its presence in the private cloud services market.
The transaction makes Ntirety the sixth authorised VMware partner acquired by 11:11 Systems. The company said the deal strengthens its position among private VMware Cloud Service Provider partners worldwide. Financial terms were not disclosed.
The acquisition comes as Broadcom reshapes the VMware Cloud Service Provider ecosystem. Broadcom has reduced the number of authorised VMware partners, according to 11:11 Systems. The company said this has led some former providers to choose between new partnerships, migrations, or combining with an existing VMware Cloud Service Provider partner.
11:11 Systems said it has held discussions with former VMware Cloud Service Providers about options under the updated programme. The company characterised customer demand as centred on private cloud, managed infrastructure, disaster recovery, and security-led IT strategies.
"11:11 has been actively working with many former VCSPs to guarantee secure, compliant, high-performing cloud services and determine the best path forward for both their customers and their business," said Brett Diamond, CEO, 11:11 Systems. "Ntirety has a strong global VMware business with incredible in-house expertise and amazing customers, and we are thrilled to welcome them to 11:11's award-winning, resilient cloud platform."
Consolidation drive
The deal extends a run of acquisitions by 11:11 Systems in VMware-related managed services and infrastructure operations. Over the past three years, the company has acquired iland Cloud, Green Cloud Defence, Unitas Global, Sungard Availability Services and Faction. With Ntirety, that list reaches six authorised VMware partner purchases in the period described by 11:11 Systems.
11:11 Systems framed the acquisitions as building operational experience and commercial insight across VMware-based environments. The company did not disclose how it plans to integrate Ntirety, including any changes to staffing, customer contracts, or service delivery. It also did not state whether it expects to make additional acquisitions under the revised VMware partner structure.
Broadcom executive Ricky Cooper linked the updated VCSP approach to a narrower group of partners. He said Broadcom intends to focus investments on those partners.
"Our strategy in optimising the VCSP program is to focus our investments on a group of core partners with tremendous competencies like 11:11 Systems," said Ricky Cooper, general manager of Global Cloud Service Providers and OEMs, Broadcom. "Their global footprint, VMware expertise, more than 6,000 customers and proven cloud, connectivity and security solutions position them to fully embrace our roadmap and innovation agenda and provide our joint customers with world-class service and support."
Customer focus
11:11 Systems said its platform covers cloud, connectivity, backup, cyber, disaster recovery, and security services. The company positions itself as a managed infrastructure provider for organisations running critical applications and data in private cloud environments. It said it serves more than 6,000 customers worldwide.
Ntirety operates in managed and professional IT services. The statement described it as having a global VMware business. The companies did not describe the size of Ntirety, its customer base, or the specific services it brings into 11:11 Systems beyond VMware-related operations and expertise.
Ntirety CEO Jim Parks said the company selected 11:11 Systems based on experience in VMware environments and security positioning.
"We chose 11:11 to take Ntirety's business to the next level because of their deep experience in VMware-based environments, as well as their focus on security," said Jim Parks, CEO, Ntirety. "11:11 is the right choice to support our customers' IT plans from cloud to containers to private AI and beyond."
Cooley acted as legal adviser to 11:11 Systems. Houlihan Lokey served as exclusive financial adviser to Ntirety and Foley & Lardner acted as legal adviser.
11:11 Systems said the acquisition responds to ongoing market interest in private cloud and managed infrastructure alongside disaster recovery and security-driven approaches. The company said former VCSPs continue to assess their path under Broadcom's revised partner programme.
