Axway champions data governance presence in ANZ market

08 Aug 16

Axway has built continued success into its data governance and software technologies to customers and partners in the APAC region, with fifteen partners, twenty employees and and 170 customers in the Australia/New Zealand region..

The company, headed by CEO Jean-Marc Lazzari, provides application integration and a range of tools for data governance across enterprise, cloud and mobile. The company also has an extensive partner network, and also hosts the Axway Asia Pacific Partner Awards.

Colman McCaffery is vice president, sales & operations, Australia and New Zealand, responsible for leading company development and providing sales productivity and customer satisfaction through the delivery of its products. McCaffery brings more than 20 years of sales, implementation and transformational IT solutions to customers, most recently in cloud infrastructure.

“Enterprises in New Zealand are looking to adopt new API-based connectivity methods over traditional approaches to accelerate, secure, and manage their digital business initiatives. We’re seeing a shift in the type and calibre of companies we’re partnering with in the region, with business consultancies, integration specialists and government advisors championing the move to digitisation in the enterprise," McCaffery says.

“At Axway we focus on expanding relationships with specialised consultancy firms focusing on high-value niches such as mobile development, API management and digital identity and transformation to foster the adoption of digital technologies and help our customers in their transformation requirements," McCaffery continues.

The company also works with system integrators, channel, technology and managed service partners to integrate or resell Axway products. The company states that its B2B, MFT and SOA governance capabilities allow data governance 'beyond the edge' and across to both trading partners and customers.

“A great example for partners delivering the value add and integration expertise in some of the region’s largest and most successful transformation initiatives is the work we do with Middleware New Zealand. Middleware NZ is a niche consultancy with offices in Wellington and Auckland that focuses on providing independent advice, strategy and architecture road maps, as well as solution-led product implementations for all middleware functions. The company has been a consistent contributor and advocate of Axway’s API Management solutions since 2013, and last year accounted for the highest revenue contribution across the partner network in APAC," McCaffery explains.

The company recently expanded its Global Partner Network with its Axway Advantage Partner Program, which will connect global Axway partners to a range of industries, including government, healthcare and manufacturing.

“The new Axway Advantage Partner Program is designed to bring enhanced value to our partner ecosystem, which in turn amplifies the value we deliver to our customers," said Mike Dayton, senior vice president, global alliances and channels, Axway, said about the announcement in June.
