James Berry named new APAC managing director at Diversified
James Berry has been appointed as the new managing director of Asia Pacific (APAC) at Diversified, a global technology solutions provider. With over 30 years of experience in sectors such as technology, managed service, payments, and financial services, Berry is set to lead Diversified's development in the APAC market.
Prior to his role at Diversified, Berry held the position of Managing Director at the digital consulting tech company, Atos. He has also had significant leadership roles in financial services corporations such as Worldpay, HSBC, and Standard Chartered, where he successfully spearheaded global teams.
Commenting on his appointment, Berry said, "It's an exciting time to be joining Diversified, a company that stands out for its expert understanding of the technological innovations and solutions needed to solve for today's evolving client challenges especially in areas like artificial intelligence (AI), cybersecurity, and the shift to intelligent, hybrid workspaces." He spoke with enthusiasm about Diversified's range of projects, their scope in terms of size, scale, and complexity, stating, "I look forward to contributing to our international success and further establishing our foothold as the top choice for clients seeking to maximise the value of their spaces, mitigate risks, and create unforgettable experiences."
Extending a warm welcome to Berry, Eric Hutto, CEO, Diversified, says, "We are delighted to welcome James to the Diversified team. His deep knowledge across various sectors, including technology, financial services, supply chain, and health managed services, combined with his rich understanding of various international markets, positions him as an ideal leader to continue driving our growth in the APAC region, which is a strategic priority for Diversified."
Diversified already enjoys a strong reputation in Australia and the APAC region, with celebrated projects that include the installation of an immersive audio system and a mission-critical public address and emergency warning intercommunication system at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. The company has also created innovative digital signage and custom-designed installation plans for lululemon retail spaces in Australia, Canada, New Zealand, and the United States, along with the audio-visual integration for what is now the Southern Hemisphere's largest internal LED wall at 180 George St. in Sydney's Circular Quay.
