KnowBe4 ranked 51st on 2025 list of most loved workplaces

Yesterday

KnowBe4 has been named to Newsweek Magazine's 2025 Top 100 Global Most Loved Workplaces list, ranking at number 51.

The annual ranking, developed in partnership with Most Loved Workplace, a division of Best Practice Institute (BPI), identifies companies across the world where employees express high levels of satisfaction and engagement.

Now in its third year, the Global Most Loved Workplaces list is drawn from BPI's Love of Workplace Index, utilising data collected from surveys of over two million employees worldwide. The list evaluates organisations on a range of factors, including trust, respect, alignment of values, and opportunities for career development.

Companies of varying size, location, and sector were considered for this year's list. Those selected demonstrated significant efforts to foster environments where employees report feeling valued, connected, and motivated by shared purpose.

"This recognition for the second time reflects our core belief at KnowBe4 – that creating a workplace where people feel genuinely valued drives both innovation and business performance. What makes this recognition especially meaningful is that it comes directly from our employees' experiences. We have built our talent strategy around giving our people recognition, purpose, and the tools to thrive in both their professional and personal lives," said Ani Banerjee, CHRO at KnowBe4.

The methodology for the ranking is based primarily on employee sentiment across five key areas: optimism for the future within the company, opportunities for achievement in their careers, the extent to which company values align with those of employees, respect throughout all levels of the organisation, and levels of collaboration between colleagues. Diversity, inclusion, leadership quality, and professional development were also weighed in relation to these core metrics.

"As we mark five years of recognizing the world's Most Loved Workplaces, it's an honor to spotlight companies that place employee well-being at the center of their workplace cultures. In today's rapidly changing world, this year's list reflects a growing global shift toward human-centered leadership as a key driver of resilience and success," Jennifer H. Cunningham, Global Editor in Chief at Newsweek, commented on the broader significance of the list.

The Most Loved Workplace ranking has become a notable measure of employee sentiment and engagement in global business, providing a benchmark for workplace culture and employee experience.

"This year's Global Most Loved Workplaces show what's possible when leaders turn employee sentiment into business strategy. From trust to purpose to collaboration, these companies are using data-driven insights to build cultures people don't want to leave. This year's Top 100 Global Most Loved Workplaces showcase how leading with love, trust, and alignment drives performance, loyalty, and lasting impact. We're proud to work with Newsweek to highlight their achievements on a global stage," Louis Carter, founder and CEO of BPI and Most Loved Workplace, said, discussing the impact of the ranked companies' workplace strategies.

In compiling the list, BPI applied its proprietary Love of Workplace Index, which incorporates direct employee survey responses pertaining to satisfaction with future vision, professional achievement, values alignment, respect, and collaboration. More than two million employees participated in surveys, covering companies ranging in size from 10 to over 10,000 staff. The evaluation also included written submissions, executive interviews, and analysis of public ratings. Newsweek's editorial team performed independent research to finalise the rankings.

KnowBe4, which provides a platform for human risk management and cybersecurity awareness, is one of the organisations highlighted for fostering a culture of trust, respect, and belonging, according to the report.
