Sat, 4th Oct 2025

Tanium has received global recognition as one of the best places to work by earning multiple awards from Great Place to Work and Inspiring Workplaces.

The company, known for its work in Autonomous Endpoint Management (AEM), has been acknowledged across several regions and award categories, reflecting efforts to foster an environment founded on trust, collaboration, and growth. Tanium's workplace culture has been highlighted by leading organisations that evaluate employee experience and corporate environments internationally.

In the 2025 cycle, Great Place to Work awarded Tanium Best Workplace honours in Asia, France, Japan, and the United Kingdom. The company achieved a notable fourth place ranking in Japan's medium division, which covers businesses with 100 to 999 employees. Additionally, Tanium was recognised as a 'Best Workplace for Development' in the UK and a 'Best Workplace in Tech' in France and the United States of America.

Alongside these accolades, Inspiring Workplaces named Tanium both a 'Top Inspiring Workplace in North America' and a 'Top Global Workplace'. These distinctions position Tanium among a group of global employers praised for their commitment to positive workplace environments.

Culture and initiatives

The awards are a reflection of Tanium's ongoing commitment to nurturing a supportive workplace culture. Tanium reports that it operates 14 offices around the world, including locations in Emeryville, California; Durham, North Carolina; Krakow, Poland; Reading in the UK; Paris, France; and Tokyo, Japan. Through these international offices, the company emphasises its focus on employee growth and career development.

"We're incredibly proud of these global recognitions. We are deeply committed to helping every team member grow, thrive, and reach their full potential. By investing in our people, we're not only shaping a best-in-class workplace but also ensuring a future of innovation and impact for our customers," said Tobias Julen, chief people officer at Tanium.

Tanium states that its approach is guided by organisational mission and values, striving for transparency, collaboration, and inclusion across its workforce. Among the company's internal programmes are volunteer opportunities, such as the Annual Month of Giving, and dedicated training initiatives that support both personal and professional advancement for employees.

Tanium's corporate culture is described by the company as being shaped by the collective efforts of its team members, with a particular emphasis on sharing knowledge and supporting customers using its endpoint management platform. Tanium says the platform enables IT operations and security teams to identify and manage endpoints with efficiency and confidence at scale and in real time.

Awards context

The multiple honours received by Tanium come amid increasing attention to workplace culture and employee experience worldwide. Organisations such as Great Place to Work and Inspiring Workplaces base their recognitions on a mix of employee feedback and assessments of workplace policies and practices.

For Tanium, recent awards corroborate feedback from its global teams and reinforce the company's stated objective of creating a workplace where opportunity, personal growth, and a sense of inclusion are prioritised. According to the company, these values extend into everyday work and are reflected in ongoing employee engagement and learning opportunities.

Tanium highlights that its platform supports more than 35 million endpoints worldwide and is used by a significant proportion of major enterprises. This operational reach is said to be matched by its internal processes, which are designed to help employees succeed and develop professionally in the technology sector.

The recognition from independent organisations signifies external assessment of Tanium's workplace practices, alongside internal perceptions. The company has not disclosed specifics around its employee engagement scores or detailed criteria used for the awards.
