Acquire has scooped up top Kiwi honours at Lenovo's 2015 ANZ Business Partner Awards, taking out the award for New Zealand Partner of the Year.
The annual awards recognise the 'outstanding' achievements of Lenovo's local business partner community.
The Business Partner Awards Gala at Opera Point Marquee in Sydney also saw Synnex Australia claim distributor of the year for the region.
Synnex is also one of three kiwi distributors for Lenovo's PC lineup, alongside Ingram Micro and Westcon, which inked a deal in July to distribute the Chinese vendor's PC portfolio in addition to the server and storage products it had been distributing.
Ingram Micro also distributes the vendor's enterprise portfolio.
Earlier this year Lenovo revamped its Partner Advantage channel program, offering increased rebates and funded heads.
Fred Viet, Lenovo ANZ channel head, says the changes were sparked by an increasingly competitive, and rapidly evolving IT market where 'it is imperative that we facilitate resellers in doing business in this changing landscape'.
Earlier this week, Lenovo and Brocade announced they had done an OEM deal which sees Brocade's Gen 5 Fibre Channel SAN solutions being sold through Lenovo and its channel partners.
Other partners taking out awards at the Business Partner Awards include JB HiFi Education Solutions, which was named Innovative Partner of the Year; and Leading Edge Group which was named New Partner of the Year.
Brennan IT scooped up the award for Growth Partner of the Year, while Enterprise Business Group Partner of the Year went to Meridian IT.
Staples was named Australian Partner of the Year.
