Acronis is gearing up to offer free educational webinars for channel partners on a monthly basis.

The webinars aims to provide resellers with better knowledge and skills about backup and recovery. They’ll be uploaded onto the Partner Portal as on-demand webinars for resellers to view when needed.

Topics covered will relate to  backup and recovery in physical and virtual environments, including product information, sales tools, technical demonstrations and support facilities.

Acronis has also enhanced its Partner Portal as an ongoing commitment to channel partners.

“We have been getting positive responses from Acronis resellers to the webinars we hosted early this year. Now it’s time for us to expand these educational webinars and offer them more frequently so more resellers can benefit from them. Our aim is to increase reseller’s expertise in the fields of backup, recovery and virtualisation,” said Simon Howe, ANZ Country Manager.

Acronis ANZ launched the Partner Program and Partner Portal in Feb 2009. It says there are over 500 resellers registered on the Portal.
