Agilysys names Tony Marshall as VP & Managing Director for Asia Pacific
Tony Marshall has been appointed Vice President and Managing Director for Asia Pacific by Agilysys, a world-leading provider of hospitality software solutions and services. As the company experiences strong demand for its Property Management Systems (PMS), Point-of-Sale (POS) and Inventory and Procurement (I&P) solutions in the Asia Pacific region and beyond, Marshall has been selected to direct its regional growth strategy.
Marshall, a veteran in the hospitality and travel industry, brings over two decades of experience with hospitality technology companies in Asia Pacific and the Middle East. Since becoming a part of Agilysys in 2022 as Regional Director, he has significantly expanded the company's footprint in key markets such as Australia, New Zealand, South Korea and Singapore.

Based in Singapore, Marshall has been tasked with raising awareness of Agilysys' state-of-the-art hospitality software and solutions across the Asia Pacific. To this end, he has begun assembling a team of local hospitality specialists, initiating key roles such as a Director of Sales for Australia and New Zealand, and a Regional Director of Sales for South-East Asia.

The hospitality industry in Asia Pacific shows an upward trend with a 13% year-on-year growth in hotel occupancy levels in 2023, and further rise predicted for 2024, particularly in luxury segments.
