Amber Technology introduces the Ochno Room Kit for meetings

Amber Technology has unveiled the Ochno Room Kit, a comprehensive connectivity solution aimed at enhancing meeting room collaboration in various work environments.

The Ochno Room Kit includes three main components: the Ochno Power Conference 4 (O-PC-4), the O-PC-4 Node, and high-performance USB-C extension cables. The purpose of this kit is to provide seamless technology integration within meeting spaces, supporting up to dual 8K screen output and 100W USB-C power delivery. It also incorporates advanced Ethernet-sharing capabilities and is tailored for settings that have adopted hybrid workplace models.

The O-PC-4 acts as the central hub, offering a 4x USB-C switcher that delivers 100W power on each port, facilitating the connection of multiple laptops to video conferencing systems for smoother meetings. It supports dual-screen output with resolutions up to 8K and features Ethernet-sharing capabilities. Tools for managing these systems are available via the Ochno Management Console.

The O-PC-4 Node functions as a wall-side receiver and is essential for bridging connections between laptops, displays, and peripheral devices. It offers high-speed data transfer and reliable USB-C power delivery, designed for easy integration into varied room layouts. This element is particularly suitable for meeting spaces that demand extended reach and flexibility.

Accompanying the main components, the Ochno USB-C extension cables, available in 10m and 20m options, are designed for long-range connections between table-mounted devices and wall-side systems. These cables are crafted to offer consistent performance in high-usage environments, providing a solution for large or complex meeting room configurations.

The Ochno Power Conference 4 Node component boasts dimensions of 150 x 65 x 33 mm and weighs 380 grams. It supports USB-C ports with up to 100W power delivery and comes with a three-year warranty. The extension cables are durably constructed to deal with high-use scenarios.

Each component of the kit, including the Ochno Power Conference 4 and the O-PC-4 Node, has undergone certification processes such as CE, FCC, RoHS, and REACH compliance, underscoring their adherence to international quality standards.
