
Amplitude reports Q4 revenue rise & customer growth
Amplitude has reported its financial results for the fourth quarter and fiscal year ending 31 December 2024, noting increased revenue and customer growth.
The company's revenue for the fourth quarter reached USD $78.1 million, a 9% increase year over year. Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) for the year was USD $312 million, an 11% increase year over year and a USD $13 million increase from the third quarter of 2024. The number of customers generating over USD $100,000 in ARR expanded to 591, representing 16% growth compared to the previous year.

For the fourth quarter of 2024, Amplitude reported a GAAP loss from operations of USD $(35.5) million, increasing from a loss of USD $(21.5) million in the same period the previous year. Revenue for the fiscal year amounted to USD $299.3 million, up 8% from the prior year, while the GAAP net loss for the year was USD $(94.3) million compared to USD $(90.4) million in 2023.
Cash flow from operations was USD $3.2 million in the fourth quarter, an increase of USD $0.9 million year over year. Meanwhile, free cash flow remained unchanged from the previous year at USD $1.5 million.
Regarding business developments, Amplitude has recently acquired Command AI and introduced new products, Guides and Surveys, designed to enhance in-product guidance by making it more personalised and effective. Additionally, the company was recognised as the 2024 AWS Partner of the Year for Innovation in Digital Experiences.
Looking forward to 2025, Amplitude has provided revenue guidance for the first quarter, estimating earnings between USD $78.5 million and USD $80.5 million. For the full year of 2025, the company anticipates revenue from USD $324.8 million to USD $330.8 million. Non-GAAP operating income for the first quarter is predicted to reflect a loss between USD $(5.5) million and USD $(3.5) million. At the same time, full-year projections range from a loss of USD $(3.5) million to an income of USD $4.5 million.
