FYI, this story is more than a year old

The AVR Lab has been appointed as the exclusive distributor of Vuzix smart glasses products to the Australian and New Zealand markets.

Vuzix manufactures smart glasses products that enable augmented reality (AR) for defense, security, enterprise and consumer markets, including education.

Products are available as either monocular or binocular display systems, are highly configurable, and configurations and manufacturing are available for clients and OEMs.

The technology includes innovative optics, AI applications and 5G capability to enable on-the-job guidance, training and telecommunications.

“We are excited to work with a company like Vuzix that delivers such an innovative and important product to the world. Teaming up with Vuzix to provide Smart Glasses to the Australian and New Zealand market is an exciting development for our company.

“This partnership reflects our desire to collaborate with companies that share our vision of ‘helping businesses become better businesses', using technology that helps transform our clients' businesses and keeps them safe,” says The AVR Lab director Danny Gambaro.

“Vuzix smart glasses are being used all over the world to support business continuity during the COVID-19 pandemic," adds Vuzix president and CEO Paul Travers.

"The AVR Lab is opening up new customer accounts and wireless carrier relationships to showcase the value proposition of Vuzix smart glasses across Australia and New Zealand for Vuzix which is really exciting for the industry.

Recently, The AVR Lab formed a partnership with Cleanbox to bring Smart Tech Hygiene solutions to the Australian and New Zealand markets.

Cleanbox is a self-contained device that uses UVC light to kill pathogens without damaging the technology.

“Cleanbox technology is changing how hardware gets dried and disinfected quickly and waste-free. Our products have been in the market for over two years and proven to kill even the hardest of viruses and bacteria, in 60-seconds with a 99.999+% efficacy,” Cleanbox Technology co-founder and CEO Amy Hendrick explains.

A start-up business, The AVR Lab has been engaging with industry and connecting with small businesses to help build a stronger Australian Small Business network.

Adding partnerships with organisations like Cleanbox enables them to bring the best of breed innovative solutions to the Australian market.

Until recently Accuteque has been delivering augmented and virtual reality (AVR) services as one of a broad range of services.

In April 2020, a decision was made to establish The AVR Lab as a separate business, focused on bringing AVR technology and solutions to the Australian and New Zealand market.

Partnering with Danny Gambaro, Caroline and Danny have set up The AVR Lab as a start–up within an existing business structure and currently services clients across Australia.
