Connector commits to South Island growth

25 Aug 2010

Andrew Hood, Renaissance Services Business Manager, has signed on as Connector’s second Business Development Manager for the South Island.

Hood joins Connector Systems in October and will be responsible for developing its South Island reseller base.

"With the addition of a number of new brands over the last three months and our growth plans we are pleased to announce the addition of a second Business Development Manager in Christchurch,” said Mark Dasent, GM for the Networking & Wireless group at Connector.

He will be responsible for developing Connector’s reseller base in the South Island.

"Andrew has a strong background in IT distribution, channel development and customer service specifically in the South Island,” added Dasent. "One of the strengths of Connector Systems is in our regional coverage and we look forward to having Andrew on our team to help grow our resellers business in the South.”

Connector Systems signed up three Renaissance employees back in May.

Off the back of Connector’s recent appointment by Motorola as its distributor of wireless network solutions in New Zealand, the firm will soon invite resellers to become authorised Motorola dealers.

Connector has scheduled online sales training and classroom-based technical certification training session for September.
