CrowdStrike to triple investment in APJ channel due to local growth
CrowdStrike has announced the expansion of its partner ecosystem, operations and footprint following growth in sales and partner numbers in 2017.
The company more than doubled the roster of active partners in Australia and New Zealand (A/NZ) and Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ), and increased registered deals by 500% in APJ, due to an increased demand for security products across a variety of industries looking to replace legacy antivirus solutions with next-generation technology.
To support the growth of its partner ecosystem, CrowdStrike will be tripling its funding for channel marketing initiatives, as well as tripling its channel team headcount with a number of strategic appointments, including additional hires across Australia, India, Singapore and Japan.
This will include adding heads to support its team of lead and sales development representatives, and a specific support role for its largest partners.

CrowdStrike Falcon offers the full spectrum of endpoint security capabilities including an antivirus and endpoint detection and response, delivered through a single agent.
Using its purpose-built cloud-native architecture, the Falcon platform collects and analyses more than 100 billion endpoint events per day from millions of sensors deployed across 176 countries.
Partners have access to a collection of APIs, applications and tools to enable their security offerings and services to detect and respond to threats more efficiently.
Go-to-market support includes education and training, co-marketing initiatives and cooperative sales planning, and a regular instructor-led training programme has been started to help partners with the technical aspects of the offerings.
