Distribution Central has been appointed distributor in Australia and New Zealand for Arista Networks, a provider of software defined cloud networking solutions for large data center and computing environments.

With this new partnership DC will deliver Arista Networks’ portfolio of networking solutions to the ANZ channel through its specialist business unit, SAN Systems.

The partnership gives Arista Networks access to DC’s ANZ wide channel team that is represented across all major branches (Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Canberra, Perth, Auckland and Wellington) in addition to DC’s full suite of channel services, which is essential for Arista Networks’ strategy for channel growth and development.

Arista Networks will also be able to leverage cross-sell opportunities available through other vendors represented by DC such as Aruba Networks, F5 Networks, Riverbed and Splunk.

DC has grown from $22 million in FY2007 to more than $250 million in FY2013 in revenue with the company currently employing 120 staff across Australia, New Zealand and Singapore.

“SAN Systems will take Arista Networks’ products to market with a full suite of channel support services including pre-sales technical support, post-sales field support, configuration, product lifecycle management, training and education programs and channel marketing programs,” adds Nick Verykios, Managing Director, Distribution Central.

“We will also support the Arista Networks channel by providing enablement through our training and certification arm, Red Education.”
