Dynamic Supplies New Zealand has appointed Matt Borchert as Regional Business Lead ANZ, covering its AV and interactive communications business across Australia and New Zealand.
Borchert joins the distributor with experience in AV and technology distribution in the ANZ market. He will oversee growth and strategy for the company's AV and interactive communications operations, focusing on resellers and channel partners serving education, commercial and public sector customers.
The appointment comes as Dynamic Supplies sharpens its focus on the audiovisual, collaboration and unified communications market in Australia and New Zealand. Borchert will support partners delivering workplace and collaboration systems and help extend the company's reach in New Zealand.
He will also work alongside Roger Bennett, New Zealand Business Development Manager for technology products, as the business looks to broaden its presence with resellers. That includes support for route-to-market activity and access to the company's AV vendor line-up, including Maxhub and Sylvox.
Dynamic Supplies New Zealand distributes products across IT hardware, networking, collaboration, AV and workplace technology. Borchert's remit includes working with resellers, customers and prospects on meeting room upgrades, internal communications and device management in Microsoft environments, as well as multi-site and hybrid meeting setups.
Channel focus
Borchert highlighted the company's standing with partners and its approach to the market.

Distributors and resellers across the region have been placing greater emphasis on collaboration tools, meeting room systems and unified communications as organisations continue adapting office technology for hybrid working arrangements. That has increased demand for display hardware, device management tools and services tied to Microsoft-based workplace environments.
For Dynamic Supplies, the appointment adds another senior role focused on that segment at a time when distributors are looking to deepen relationships with channel partners rather than sell directly. Borchert's responsibilities point to a focus on helping resellers package products and services for schools, businesses and public sector organisations updating communications systems and shared workspaces.
Its New Zealand operation carries a wide range of technology brands spanning core IT products and workplace systems. Borchert will now take on a regional brief aimed at expanding the AV and unified communications side of that portfolio through the channel across Australia and New Zealand.
