Ellisco named Hirschmann distributor

26 May 2010

Auckland-based Ellisco says it services the whole of New Zealand and describes itself as a specialised supplier and consultant in electrical and mechanical engineering equipment.

Adam Callender, Belden's ANZ Regional Manager, said that New Zealand is an important market and Ellisco has considerable experience in the industrial arena, having been involved with most industries in New Zealand, in particular, food and beverage, energy and transport.

"Hirschmann products are the world's best so we wanted to partner with a company that has the technical background to support products such as switches, firewalls and wi-fi. Ellisco is also a dedicated distributor with national coverage, which was an important prerequisite in their selection," he said.

Douglas Oliver (pictured), Ellisco National Sales Manager, is equally excited about the deal. "Hirschmann are the leaders in their field. Their products, coupled with our support and complementary products from other leading vendors such as Pilz, Balluff Lueze, Danfoss,Puls, Cavotec, Idem and Ceag, will ensure New Zealand industry is provided with the best and latest technology designed for their business.”
