Fivetran reaches landmark with over 500 data connectors offered
Fivetran, a global expert in data movement, has announced a significant milestone: It now offers more than 500 data connectors. This achievement marks it as the data integration company with the largest number of connectors, supporting enterprises in centralising their data to empower AI applications, predictive analytics, and operational tasks. The company's year, full of growth and product innovation, also witnessed the addition of new data lake support, security enhancements, partner integrations, and Fivetran Lite Connectors to its platform.
Fivetran helps customers use their data to power everything from AI applications and ML models to predictive analytics and operational workloads. The Fivetran platform reliably and securely centralises data from hundreds of SaaS applications and databases into any cloud destination, whether deployed on-premises, in the cloud or a hybrid environment.
George Fraser, Co-founder and CEO of Fivetran, stated, "Global customers such as Autodesk, JetBlue and Morgan Stanley rely on Fivetran's data platform every day to support AI/ML workloads, operational use cases like SAP, Oracle and IBM database replication, predictive analytics, and self-service analytics to power data-driven decision making."
"2023 was marked by continued product innovation with significant advancements in security, compliance, speed and scale. We have never been more bullish about our mission to make access to data as simple and reliable as electricity and help companies accelerate innovation," said Fraser.
In 2023, Fivetran progressed as a dependable data integration platform featuring one-minute syncs, 99.9% guaranteed uptime and record customer usage. Each month, Fivetran's platform handles over 3,600 TB of data and manages over 2.1 million schema alterations. The system operates within the three prominent cloud service providers and expanded in 2023 to support over 25 cloud regions.

Similarly, a recent data replication benchmark report from analyst firm GigaOm disclosed that Fivetran HVR has 27x lower latency and is 63% less pricey than Qlik Replicate.
Throughout 2023, Fivetran introduced indispensable product improvements for enterprises, such as support for Amazon S3 with Apache Iceberg and Delta Lake, Microsoft OneLake support through Microsoft Fabric integration, and certified status by HITRUST across global cloud regions.
More developments included Fivetran's Private Deployment for organisations managing sensitive data, AWS GovCloud Support for government departments handling data, Fivetran Trust Centre, and Fivetran Lite Connectors. The latter uses generative AI and natural language processing technologies to develop connectors for nearly any SaaS application.
