Former HP executive heads A10 Networks ANZ team

A10 Networks has appointed from Hewlett-Packard executive Greg Barnes as Managing Director of the company's Australia and New Zealand division.

Barnes has 23 years’ experience in senior sales and general management roles, leading and building successful teams to profitable growth in both saturated and high growth markets.

He has worked in the IT and communications industry in Australia and New Zealand / South Pacific for the past 15 years, where he was previously General Manager Enterprise Security Products - South Pacific for Hewlett-Packard, and before that he was Country Manager – ANZ for Aruba Networks.

“The ANZ market is hungry for a new tech leader that is nimble and responsive," Barnes says.

"A10 is well positioned and aligned for growth in meeting demand for Cloud and Security within the Application Networking space.

"With increased focus in the market on DDoS, CGN and IPv6 migration, A10 continues to become more important.”
