HAT Distribution brings NinjaOne IT platform to ANZ partners
HAT Distribution has been appointed as the distributor in Australia and New Zealand for the IT management platform provider NinjaOne.
Under this new arrangement, HAT Distribution will collaborate with its network of channel partners to promote NinjaOne's platform, with the goal of simplifying endpoint management, strengthening cybersecurity, and increasing operational efficiency across a range of IT infrastructures.
Recent research from the Enterprise Strategy Group reveals that the proliferation of endpoint devices is presenting significant challenges for organisations. The study indicates that 70% of employees use four or more endpoint devices each day, while 90% of IT teams report an inability to monitor all endpoints. Additionally, 29% of organisations currently have no endpoint management coverage, and 77% have encountered cyberattacks originating from unknown, unmanaged, or poorly managed endpoints.
NinjaOne's cloud-based management platform aims to address these risks by providing automated tools for endpoint visibility, security, and control. The company states it serves over 24,000 customers in more than 130 countries, helping IT teams to manage patching, visibility, and security compliance at scale. The platform is built to enhance productivity, reduce security exposure, and lower costs for its users.
Josh Gammer, General Manager of HAT Distribution, commented on the new partnership, saying, "NinjaOne fills a vital gap for our partners by equipping them with a powerful solution to help their clients' internal IT teams improve endpoint visibility, streamline patching, and bolster cybersecurity. We're excited to bring this high-growth platform to HAT's suite of impactful, easy-to-deploy IT solutions, offering automated patching, deeper endpoint visibility, and improved security compliance to the channel."
According to Joe Lohmeier, Vice President of Channel Sales at NinjaOne, the complexity and cost associated with managing endpoints in dispersed organisational settings are significant issues for IT departments. Lohmeier said, "Managing endpoints in today's distributed organisational environments has become cumbersome, complex, and cost-prohibitive."
"For IT teams to effectively grow while saving time and resources, they need an innovative endpoint management platform that can scale alongside them. Now, HAT will be able to help organisations automate IT tasks to increase efficiency, improve productivity by consolidating technology stacks and saving time on simple tasks, and achieve greater resilience by reducing security risks."
The research from Enterprise Strategy Group, which outlines many of these endpoint management challenges, was authored by Principal Analyst Dave Gruber, Senior Analyst Gabe Knuth, and Director of Syndicated Research Bill Lundell and published in May 2023.
HAT Distribution has commenced the distribution of NinjaOne's solutions across Australia and New Zealand. The company is working with its partners in the region to make the platform accessible to organisations seeking to address endpoint security and management challenges.
