HSO acquires NZ's Aware Group to boost global AI capabilities

HSO, a global business transformation partner, has announced the acquisition of New Zealand-based Aware Group, which specialises in advanced Data and AI solutions. The acquisition aims to enhance HSO’s capabilities in delivering business-relevant AI solutions worldwide.

Aware, known for its work with machine learning and generative AI, has assisted numerous companies in exploring AI solutions. The company has a history of taking AI experiments from prototype to production, achieving significant operational cost savings and efficiency improvements for clients.

The inclusion of Aware’s expertise in using Copilot, Azure AI solutions, and ready-to-use AI models is expected to accelerate HSO's time-to-market and ensure the effective deployment of advanced AI-driven solutions. HSO aims to establish itself as a premier global Microsoft partner for business and AI transformation using the Microsoft Cloud.

Since Carlyle, a global investment firm, acquired a stake in HSO in 2019, the company has made six acquisitions, including Aware. This solution helps combat livestock parasites, reducing chemical treatments and promoting sustainable farming practices.
