IDeaS launches API portal to enhance tech collaboration

IDeaS, a SAS company and provider of hospitality revenue management software, announced the launch of its new API data integration developer portal intended to enhance data integration capabilities and foster stronger collaboration among technology providers in the hospitality sector.

The developer portal is designed to streamline the process by which external technology providers connect to IDeaS' revenue management system (RMS). It promises access to a range of resources including comprehensive technical documentation to facilitate testing and data exchange. This is expected to create a more collaborative environment for technology providers working with IDeaS.

The new API developer portal features a modern JSON RESTful API toolkit complete with detailed documentation to ensure smooth integration. This is poised to significantly reduce the amount of time required for planning, development, and troubleshooting processes.

Partners will benefit from 24/7 access to resources such as API keys and testing workflows. This self-service model is aimed at allowing partners to work independently, minimising the need for intervention from IDeaS' integration specialists.

The portal also consolidates all updates, new features, and maintenance notifications, ensuring that partners are informed promptly. Enhanced security features allow partners to manage secret keys and protect sensitive data, maintaining secure access to IDeaS resources.
