FYI, this story is more than a year old

Lexel Systems and Umbrellar Cloud Hosting have taken out key awards at Veeam's regional 2016 ProPartner Awards.

Lexel was named Veeam's ProPartner of the Year for New Zealand, with Umbrellar Cloud Hosting taking out Cloud and Service Provider of the Year for New Zealand, with Fujitsu named Enterprise ProPartner of the Year.

The vendor has has more than 2300 Veeam ProPartners across Australia and New Zealand, and says the awards validate and celebrate the most outstanding channel partners, who have demonstrated success in providing availability solutions to their customers while providing first class support, expert knowledge and ongoing product education.

Amaury Dutilleul-Francoeur, Veeam Software ANZ head of channel and cloud, says the awards recognise and celebrate the channel's success, something key for the 100% channel company.

Don William, Veeam Software ANZ vice president, says each of the award winners is ‘an example of an ideal collaboration with Veeam'.

“Veeam's award winning ProPartner program and our solid partner ecosystem allows us to continue to enable enterprises to meet 24.7.365 availalbility as they transform their businesses to be IT-enabled,” Williams says.

“It is these relationships which we have built over the years that will cement our continued success in meeting our business growth objectives and market share as well as the success of our joint customers.

The vendor saw 22% year on year revenue growth across all its local partner levels last year, and a 35% increase in Veeam Cloud and Service Provider transactions, which helped the company to a 66% growth in cloud revenue.

“As volumes of data generated and stored by businesses continue to grow and more organisations across the ANZ region rely on a hybrid cloud approach to secure data and provide services to their customers, it's our network of ProPartners that will continue to help Veeam maintain and deploy its vision of availability for the always-on enterprise,” Williams says.

“The momentum of our cloud offerings, our expanding footprint within the enterprise market, the strength of our ProPartner program along with the commitment from our alliance partners and our upcoming new product releases will pave the way for an even more successful 2017.
