Mimecast A/NZ names top partners at second partner awards

03 Aug 2018

Mimecast celebrated its top performing A/NZ channel partners at its second-annual Mimecast Partner Awards ceremony in Sydney last night.

Managed services provider Brennan IT collected Legendary Partner of the Year for its number of customer acquisitions, Dimension Data Australia was recognised as Elite Partner of the Year and national IT provider Data#3 took the award for Certified Partner of the Year.

Virtual Machine Technology received the Rising Star Award for its year-on-year growth, Datacom took out the Customer Excellence Award, while The Missing Link picked up the Mimecast Partner Innovation Award.

Individual honours went to Tom Hickmott, Techware (Technical Champion of the Year) and Adam Barker, SecureWare (Champion of the Year).

Partners also had the opportunity to nominate a Mimecast Partner Advocate of the Year, which was awarded to Mimecast Australia’s Business Development Manager, Duke Ratnayake.

Mimecast channel director Rema Lolas says award winners were selected based on financial performance and growth, strategic alignment and delivering great customer outcomes.

“I’d like to thank all the winners and finalists for their support of our technology and driving our continued shared growth,” Lolas says.

Our commitment to channel partners who share our passion for delivering great customer outcomes is stronger than ever and it's so great to reward our partners and stand-out individuals for their efforts, loyalty and partnership. It’s certainly an exciting time for our channel partner community and I look forward to building the momentum for an even better 2019.”

Mimecast has delivered email cyber resilience for businesses worldwide and continues to expand its product portfolio and recently announced its acquisition of Ataata and Solebit, as well as launching its early adopter program for its Domain Name System (DNS) Security Gateway solution.

“Mimecast is rapidly growing and expanding its solution capabilities,” Lolas adds.

“It’s a great time for us to provide partners with increased opportunity and the chance to expand into adjacent markets of security awareness training and web security. With Mimecast’s rapid growth in ANZ, the opportunity for our partners to be successful and grow their business is immense. We’re devoted to helping our partners offer their customers the best approaches to fundamentally improve their cyber resilience.”

The Greatest Mimecast Partner Awards, held at the Junk Lounge, recognise dedicated channel partner organisations and their employees that achieve superior results and are contributing to Mimecast’s ongoing success.
