NEC Australia has announced the winners of the NEC Unified Communications (UC) Channel Partner of the Year 2018 Awards.

For the second year running, Queensland company Techwell has been selected as the winner of the NEC UC Channel Partner of the Year Award.

The award recognises that Techwell achieved the highest sales revenues among 200 partners for the financial year ending on 31 March 2018.

The award also recognises its excellence in the collaborative delivery of UC solutions to end-user customers

NEC Australia Director of Sales Andy Hurt says, “To be recognised as NEC’s Channel Partner of the Year two years in a row is a spectacular achievement for Techwell, an outstanding partner for NEC Australia’s UC business.

“We’re proud to recognise their expertise and professionalism in working with us to bring NEC innovation to customers.”

The Channel Partner of the Year Awards celebrates the success of collaboratively delivering innovation to the Australian market.

The award harnesses NEC’s worldwide reputation for innovation and helps to demonstrate the credibility of NEC Australia’s partners to their target market.

It also recognises partner achievements in the marketplace and helps build trust with prospective customers.

This year saw the introduction of a new category, Export Channel Partner of the Year, highlighting NEC’s commitment to its growing export market.

The introduction of the new category follows the establishment of an official partner program for New Zealand in 2017, adding to NEC’s existing regional channel partner networks in Fiji and Papua New Guinea.

The winner of the inaugural Export Channel Partner of the Year Award is New Zealand company, BayCom.

Hurt continues, “NEC thrives on collaborative relationships with our channel partners in the APAC region, especially in this changing business environment.

"Each of our partners contributes to our collective success and we thank them for their commitment and hard work.”
