New Partner chief to drive Compuware's ANZ presence
Compuware Corporation has announced the appointment of Graham Dean as Partner Manager for Australian and New Zealand.
Based in Melbourne, Dean will be responsible for managing Compuware’s existing partner network across the region and for recruiting new channel partners to accelerate mutual opportunities for application performance management solutions across mobile, web, cloud and enterprise applications.
Dean joins Compuware with more than 25 years’ experience in the IT industry and has a proven track record of delivering strategic IT business outcomes and developing successful sales and channel momentum in the infrastructure, mainframe, network development and ERP markets.
“The investment in our partner and alliance ecosystem is part of a global initiative to grow the business though these channels," says Steve Jobson, Senior Vice President of Compuware Asia-Pacific.
"A priority will be around identifying and building out new and existing partnerships in the independent software vendor, value added reseller and managed services markets.
“Graham brings the proven ability to build and lead a highly successful channel program.
"His proficiency in partner-led sales, coupled with driving successful go-to-market strategies within the channel community will be an invaluable asset to Compuware in Australia and New Zealand as we continue to expand the role of our channel program in supporting our company’s growth trajectory.”
Dean was previously Asia Pacific Managing Director at Infragistics, a worldwide leader in user experience helping developers build apps. In this role, he was responsible for establishing the company’s regional presence, building a reseller base and driving sales.
Dean previously worked for five years at Quest Software in several roles, including as Partner and Alliances Sales Manager, Audit and Compliance Manager, and Microsoft Relationship Manager.
Prior, he worked in several sales and account management management roles for companies including NetIQ, Data#3, Computer Associates and New Dimension Software.
Today, about 70 per cent of Compuware’s revenues in the Asia Pacific region flow through channel partners and the company is now looking to emulate this figure in Australia.
