Veeam Software has announced the appointment of Ross Cranston to the role of Territory Manager for New Zealand and Pacific Islands, based in Auckland.

As part of his role, Cranston will be responsible for leading new business acquisition and nurturing Veeam’s strong channel partnerships to further support the company’s accelerated growth across the Asia Pacific region.

Prior to joining Veeam, Ross held various business development, account management and technical roles, including positions at ViFX Managed Operations, Fujitsu New Zealand, Maclean Computing, Datastor NZ Ltd, Gen-i and Connect NZ Ltd. He brings extensive experience in leadership, channel management and strategic account planning.

“We are excited to welcome Ross to our team at a time of immense growth across New Zealand, to help meet the needs of our local partners and build on our success in the enterprise segment,” says Don Williams, vice president for Asia Pacific, Veeam.

“Our success across the region overall has been driven by demand for our solutions designed to bridge the gap between the requirements of the Always-On Business and IT’s ability to effectively deliver business continuity and IT resilience.

"Ross’ experience and knowledge of the local market makes him the perfect fit to support New Zealand as we enter this next phase.”
