Onix launches Wingspan agentic AI to modernise enterprise data
Onix has announced the launch of Wingspan, a multi-capability agentic AI platform designed to aid enterprises in data modernisation and deploying domain-specific artificial intelligence agents.
Wingspan is intended to help organisations create context-aware data platforms that offer greater user productivity and deliver actionable AI-driven insights tailored to specific business domains.
Sanjay Singh, Chief Executive Officer at Onix, said, "Wingspan is engineered to meet the real-world complexities of modern enterprises. By leveraging a powerful context engine and autonomous AI agents, Wingspan delivers scalable intelligence that integrates seamlessly across environments. It's not just about deploying AI — it's about deploying AI that understands your business and drives measurable impact."
The Wingspan platform incorporates Onix's proprietary technologies for data modernisation and context engines, such as Eagle, Raven, Pelican, and Kingfisher, a synthetic data generator. New capabilities supporting autonomous and deterministic AI agents complement these tools.
Onix reported that pairing these technologies with their consulting services provides enterprises with a comprehensive solution. This enables modern data platform adoption and deploys domain-specific AI use cases at two to three times the speed of traditional approaches. According to Onix, some launch customers could accelerate AI projects to production within four weeks.
Yasmeen Ahmad, Managing Director of Data Analytics at Google Cloud, commented, "New innovation from Onix gives our joint customers the ability to accelerate data modernisation and AI adoption. Onix's Wingspan brings autonomous intelligence and an integrated agentic AI approach to the Google Cloud ecosystem, empowering businesses to leverage their data more effectively and accelerate AI-driven transformation on Google Cloud."
Wingspan's key component is its context engine, which uses Eagle's enterprise knowledge graph to interpret and manage complex enterprise data and process ecosystems. The platform is designed for integration with Google Cloud AI products and features seamless out-of-the-box compatibility with Google Agentspace, which Google also recently announced.
This unification of data, lineage, process, and AI allows Wingspan's AI agents to operate using client organisations' specific language and processes, offering context-aware and adaptive intelligence across business units.
Doug Howland, Senior Vice President of Cloud and Security at Calix, said, "In today's fast-paced digital landscape, enterprises face a continuous challenge with unstructured and fragmented data, which hampers their ability to adopt cutting-edge automation frameworks and AI technologies. Onix's Wingspan platform will help companies seamlessly accelerate data modernisation, integrate automation, and drive AI insights and recommendations to bridge this gap."
The launch of Wingspan comes after Onix was recognised as a recipient of the 2025 Google Cloud Partner of the Year Awards in both the Data & Analytics—North America and Industry Solutions—Telecommunications categories. Onix is also listed as a partner for Google Agentspace.
Onix states that its partnership with Google Cloud aims to support enterprises seeking to maximise the value of their data and achieve meaningful financial returns by making cloud and AI solutions more accessible and operationally efficient.
