OpenText launches Cloud Editions 24.4 with AI upgrades

OpenText has announced the introduction of Cloud Editions (CE) 24.4, featuring new advancements in multi-cloud and AI technologies aimed at enhancing enterprise workflows and AI-driven knowledge management.

The recent release was unveiled at OpenText World 2024 and focuses on improvements in three main areas: Business Cloud, Business AI, and Business Technology. These solutions are designed to support secure data connectivity, streamline workflows, and empower employees in multi-cloud environments.

Among the highlights, the Business Cloud component of CE 24.4 offers enhanced data connectivity and secure communication tools. OpenText Experience Cloud now enhances organisational communication and customer interactions with upgraded tools for personalisation, such as OpenText Core Messaging that supports rich communication services including platforms like email and WhatsApp. OpenText Core Fax has also been updated to enable organisations to shift from on-premises servers to a secure, cloud-based model with minimal disruption.

In the realm of Business AI, the focus is on optimising data governance and compliance. OpenText Content Aviator and OpenText Intelligence Aviator leverage AI capabilities to assist users in extracting and analysing data through natural language queries. These tools enable more intuitive access to business intelligence, thus promoting a culture driven by data within enterprises.

On the Business Technology front, OpenText aims to furnish scalable and flexible data platforms suitable for deployment in various environments.

The Information Intelligence – Thrust API combines OpenText Intelligent Classification and Knowledge Discovery, providing solutions to manage and control the confidentiality of shared information, vital for industries such as healthcare and finance.
