Rapid7, an extended risk and threat detection vendor, has appointed Duo, a division of Sektor, as a strategic distributor within New Zealand. The new agreement allows Duo's network of resellers, value-added resellers (VARs), and managed security service providers (MSSPs) to access Rapid7's Insight platform. This platform assists in strengthening their cybersecurity deliverables by furnishing the visibility and responsiveness necessary for their customers amidst an evolving threat landscape.
This partnership emerges at a crucial time as there is a growing emphasis on investing in cybersecurity and risk management for organisations aiming to enhance their security posture. Gartner indicates that New Zealand’s security expenditures are expected to rise by 11 per cent in 2024, approaching about NZ$1 billion.
