SecureW2 unveils Nexus Partner Programme for growth
SecureW2 has launched a global channel initiative, the Nexus Partner Program. It features a performance-based tier structure and a framework that ties benefits to partner engagement and deal involvement.
The programme is led by Stephen Newhauser, Senior Director, Worldwide Partnerships. He oversees SecureW2's partner strategy, relationships, and collaborations.
SecureW2 positions itself as a provider of passwordless security technology focused on certificate-based access. Its JoinNow Platform combines Dynamic PKI and Cloud RADIUS with policy logic that makes access decisions based on user and device trust signals.
Partner framework
Nexus is available in North America, APAC, and EMEA. It targets enterprise, education, government, and regulated sectors where compliance requirements shape security and network access controls.
The programme supports several channel routes to market, including value-added resellers, managed service providers, agents, systems integrators, and specialist security and network partners. The framework includes deal registration and deal protection for partners that remain actively involved, along with higher margins on partner-sourced opportunities.
Other elements include Market Development Funds for demand-generation activities, lead sharing, and preferred access for highly engaged partners. SecureW2 also offers a reduced-rate internal production use option as part of the incentive structure.
Tools and training
SecureW2 has built enablement tools and partner resources around the programme, including a central Partner Experience Portal, sales and technical enablement libraries, and expanded demo access.
Additional investments include deal registration automation and sandbox environments. SecureW2 also outlined a structured 30-60-90 day onboarding roadmap with technical and sales training modules, dedicated channel management, and assigned account teams.
Channel programmes have become a common focus for security suppliers as buyers seek integrated approaches across identity, device management, and network access. Integrators and managed service providers often sit at the centre of these deployments, particularly for organisations that need managed operations and compliance reporting.
SecureW2 operates in a segment where certificate-based authentication and device trust are positioned as alternatives to shared credentials and password-based workflows. The company argues that this approach reduces exposure from stolen or reused passwords and tightens control over which devices and users can access corporate networks and applications.
Partner views
Partners quoted in the programme announcement cited SecureW2's approach to PKI and cloud-delivered network access controls as key reasons for engagement.
"Redesigned from the ground up, our new channel program signifies our commitment to a partner-first strategy," Newhauser said.
"Nexus symbolizes our commitment to working closely with our partners to bring world class network security to our joint customers and the broader market. The nature of cyberattacks is changing faster than most security architectures are able to adapt, and SecureW2 is uniquely positioned to help our customers and partners defend against these threats," he added.
ECI, an IT services and technology provider, also commented on SecureW2's direction in certificate-based authentication.
"We quickly recognized SecureW2's innovative, cloud-native approach to PKI certificates as the future of passwordless network access and device trust. Traditional PKI is complex and expensive, but SecureW2 has revolutionized this by leveraging existing customer policies and IT signals, delivering real-time validation, device trust, and a faster time-to-value," said Rich Itri, Chief Innovation Officer, ECI.
PIER Group, which works in the higher education sector, highlighted deployment and scaling considerations in its view of SecureW2's architecture.
"PIER Group appreciates SecureW2's cloud-based, highly scalable, and lightweight architecture, allowing for fast implementation and effortless scaling while preserving robust network security without traditional authentication overhead. This approach has proven to be a dependable, rock-solid solution for our higher education customers," said Chad Williams, President, PIER Group.
Pentio, which focuses on connectivity and operational services, emphasised integration with identity providers and endpoint platforms.
"SecureW2 goes beyond simply moving RADIUS and PKI to the cloud. Its stability and deep integrations with identity providers and endpoint platforms enable our customers to implement certificate-based access controls that are both secure and operationally sustainable," said Kosuke Osada, Lead Engineer, Pentio.
SecureW2 plans to expand partner portal resources, improve demo and sandbox access, and add integrations and automation as the programme develops.
