Sigurd Magnusson returns as CEO of Silverstripe to drive growth

Sigurd Magnusson has been appointed as the new CEO of Silverstripe, a technology provider based in Wellington, New Zealand.

The company made the announcement on 30 September 2024. Magnusson co-founded Silverstripe in 2000 and has played a significant role in the company's development over the years. He will now focus on driving innovation and steering the company's growth in the digital landscape.

Magnusson's extensive experience with Silverstripe spans over sixteen years, during which he has undertaken roles in programming, strategic sales, and marketing. Notably, he was instrumental in securing an all-of-government contract, which significantly boosted the company's market presence. After taking a break to explore other opportunities, Magnusson gained leadership skills across corporate, council, and central government sectors over the past eight years. He returns to Silverstripe with a renewed perspective and energy to guide the company through its next growth phase.
