SolarWinds unveils IT resilience solutions to combat change

Today

SolarWinds has announced new advancements designed to bolster IT operational resilience amidst a growingly intricate digital environment.

Cullen Childress, Chief Product Officer at SolarWinds, expressed the primary concern shared by customers about remaining resilient amid rapid technological changes and economic challenges. He stated, "Every new wave of change—from digital transformation to generative AI—feels like a storm threatening their business. They need solutions that not only help them adapt but also strengthen their ability to thrive in the face of disruption."

IT environments continue to evolve, bringing advantages such as flexibility and scalability, yet simultaneously increasing complexity. IT teams often face challenges including excessive alerts, data fragmentation, and protracted resolution processes, which can disrupt services, affect revenue, diminish customer trust, and harm brand reputation.

The latest enhancements from SolarWinds integrate observability, incident response, service management, and AI-powered automation within their portfolio. The company's solutions are intended to improve operational resilience by providing comprehensive control over complex hybrid IT ecosystems.

A notable addition to the SolarWinds portfolio is Squadcast Incident Response, which offers a proactive and structured approach to incident resolution. It brings together AI-powered alert isolation, on-call management, and multi-source alert correlation, among other features.

Moreover, SolarWinds Observability now offers extended hybrid IT awareness, with broadened visibility across major cloud vendors such as GCP, AWS, Azure, and on-premises environments. This includes AI-powered Log Insights and Root Cause Assist, which deliver critical insights and identify potential issues within large datasets, enhancing overall operational resilience.

During its Tech Preview phase, SolarWinds Database Observability introduces AI Query Assist, enhancing database queries by analysing patterns and suggesting optimisations to boost efficiency and reduce costs related to long-running queries.

The SolarWinds Service Desk features AI Runbook generation, automating the creation of operational guides to improve efficiency while data masking enhances compliance with regulations concerning sensitive data.

Sudhakar Ramakrishna, CEO of SolarWinds, commented on the significance of learning and adapting in building operational resilience: "Learning and adapting, core pillars of operational resilience, have been at the heart of success for SolarWinds over the past 25 years. Our mission is to share that knowledge with our customers, equipping them with solutions that help them navigate the IT operational resiliency challenges of today and tomorrow's dynamic IT landscape."

The updated features in the SolarWinds portfolio are now accessible, with various deployment options available to suit organisations of all sizes. Whether addressing the needs of small businesses or global enterprises, SolarWinds offers adaptability to accommodate IT operations demands.
