The Channel revealed exclusively last week that SonicWall had appointed Connector Systems alongside Renaissance.

Dean Redman, SonicWall’s ANZ Country Manager, says the appointment was in direct response to the firm’s global growth plans.

Asked about the advantages Connector Systems may have over Renaissance, Redman explained, “Connector Systems has recently moved into new markets offering more ‘traditional’ IT products."

He continued, "These markets include education, data center and regional government/councils – sectors which are a core focus for SonicWall, particularly for its enterprise-class products and offerings.  The enterprise market for SonicWall is a targeted area for growth and we believe Connector Systems and Renaissance can collectively assist us with this growth.”

There are no further plans for additional distributors at this stage, added Redman.

“Connector Systems and Renaissance collectively have a strong presence in New Zealand.”
