SUSE launches new cloud program for managed providers

SUSE has announced the launch of the SUSE Cloud Elevate Program for Managed Service Providers (MSPs), allowing them easier access to the company's new SaaS suite of Enterprise Container Management solutions available through the AWS Marketplace.

This program targets MSPs in response to a forecast from Canalys indicating that over 54% of MSPs will obtain software via SaaS marketplaces. As organisations increasingly adopt cloud solutions for IT modernisation and scalability, MSPs face the need to provide tailored cloud solutions promptly.

Expanding our partner program to further support MSPs in meeting these customer demands really underscores SUSE's ongoing dedication to SaaS solutions for our customers, open source ecosystem and our collaboration with AWS."

The SUSE Cloud Elevate Program enables MSPs to offer a variety of SUSE Cloud and Rancher SaaS solutions. Among these are SUSE Cloud Observability, SUSE Application Collection, and the upcoming SUSE Rancher Hosted. These solutions aim to empower MSPs to offer expanded service portfolios, quick deployment of SaaS options, and cater to diverse client requirements. Transactions via AWS Marketplace aim to offer MSPs quicker market entry and elevate customer satisfaction rates.

SUSE provides immediate access to these SaaS offerings, aiming for MSPs to demonstrate measurable results and expedite client acquisition. A 30-day free trial is available for these solutions, which SUSE views as a catalyst for significant growth.

SUSE's offerings include SUSE Cloud Observability, a managed platform built for cloud-native environments. This solution is tailored for enterprises and utilises AWS services such as Amazon EC2, Amazon EKS, and Amazon S3. SUSE Application Collection offers a suite of open source applications with available SLSA level 3 and SBOM. It includes the AWS CLI for task automation. SUSE Rancher Hosted provides a fully managed Kubernetes service and leverages AWS services like Amazon Route 53, Amazon CloudWatch, and Amazon S3, among others.

This development is part of SUSE's continuing partnership with AWS, with whom they launched the SUSE Cloud Elevate program in 2024. The program integrates benefits from AWS Channel Partner Private Offers and MSP programs, focusing on increasing partner and customer benefits.
