FYI, this story is more than a year old

A husband, father, entrepreneur, colleague, mentor and friend to many, tributes for late NewLease co-founder and managing director Doug Tutus continue to pour in from all parts of the industry.

Following his tragic passing last month, industry figures have shared their anecdotes, comments, memories and reflections of their time and experiences with Tutus.

“Doug’s network was vast, and he touched so many around the world with his passion, his intensity coupled with his fun loving spirit,” NewLease says.

“Your stories will serve as an enduring reminder to his friends and family of the impact that he had on many – both professionally and personally.

“We plan to consolidate and print your comments into a book which we will present to Doug’s family. In this small way we hope to keep the memory and legacy of Doug Tutus alive.”

The staff and board of NewLease also thanked everyone for their messages of condolence and support since the announcement of Tutus’ passing.

“The kindness and love we have felt has been greatly appreciated during this difficult time, as have the personal messages posted on the memorial website which are both heartbreaking and comforting simultaneously,” a company statement read.

The site, www.dougtutus.com, is being sponsored by Tutus’ friends and colleagues in the industry and has the full support and endorsement of NewLease.
