FYI, this story is more than a year old

Software security company Vasco has announced a sales training and certification program for its channel partners around the world.

Available for free via Vasco’s e-learning platform, SEAL (Security Experts Academy & e-Learning), Vasco says this program will update current and new channel partners on the latest services and products, as well as recent trends in Internet security. The program will also cover the security firm’s bundling strategy and the necessity for two-factor authentication, as well as providing tips on queries like how to overcome objections.

Trainees who successfully finish the program then become certified channel partners, with an opportunity to advance to select partner and premium partner levels.

Vasco’s training program can be accessed anywhere in the world through the SEAL platform, wherever and whenever the learner deems suitable.  Jan Valcke, Vasco president and COO, says the program will help partners position Vasco products in the market.

"Vasco channel partners are spread around the globe,” Valcke says, "and through this sales training and certification program we can make sure that our worldwide partners are better informed.” Vasco serves 10,000 companies, including more than 1,700 international financial institutions, in over 100 countries. New Zealand partners include Datastor and Optimation.
