VMware poaches NZ HP sales manager
Tue, 6th Aug 2013
FYI, this story is more than a year old
VMware has appointed John Drayton as the new country manager in New Zealand, joining the company from HP.
After previously holding a role as Southern regional sales manager at HP, Drayton will now focus his efforts on all things government, public sector and financial services.
Reporting to VMware vice president and ANZ GM Duncan Bennet, Drayton will be based in Wellington.
“Although New Zealand is a highly virtualised market, there is still significant opportunity for growth," he said.
"VMware’s vision around cloud will allow clients to significantly change the dynamics of how they deliver services to the business, and increase time to value."
