WatchGuard launches new channel deals

WatchGuard Technologies says it’s just closed out its most successful quarter on record in New Zealand, with 80% growth in revenue in Q2.

The growth is attributed to the launch of its XTM 5, 8 and 10 Series enterprise-class, firewall appliances.

On the back of this WatchGuard says it is entering the next quarter with the launch of two specific enhancements to its ANZ channel programme.

The new WatchGuard Elite 2010 programme offers WatchGuard’s top partner and reseller performers the chance to win an all expenses paid trip to Bali in October.

WatchGuard has also launched a Security Pays programme which provides channel sales people with a WatchGuard branded credit card that can receive cash credit for registered sales and promotions.

 This program is for WatchGuard Secure Partners only and will launch in August. “So far, 2010 has been a great year for WatchGuard ANZ not only in terms of revenue growth but also in market recognition for our product offering and the ongoing support from our channel who remain loyal and committed,” said Scott Robertson, ANZ Regional Director, WatchGuard Technologies.  “Our new channel programmes complement the changes we successfully introduced last year, including try before you buy, front end rebates and deal registration, which continue to add great value for our partners.”
