Wiise, a cloud enterprise resource planning (ERP) platform for small and medium-sized businesses, has signed Datacom New Zealand as a service partner.
The agreement will enable Datacom to offer Wiise solutions tailored to the needs of New Zealand businesses, facilitating the smooth integration of Wiise's software with clients' existing operations.
Launched in New Zealand in October 2023, Wiise aims to help small and mid-sized companies enhance their operations and improve profitability.
Built on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, the platform streamlines financial management, inventory, supply chain, manufacturing, sales, service, and reporting into a single, real-time integrated system.
The New Zealand version incorporates several local enhancements, including integrated bank feeds compatible with major New Zealand banks, an NZ Post Code finder, an IRD compliant Chart of Accounts, and predefined reporting capabilities.
The collaboration reflects broader industry trends towards integrated solutions that simplify business processes, provide a single source of truth for data, and enhance customer experiences.
According to the companies involved, there is a growing demand for platforms that can quickly adapt to changing business environments and leverage AI for efficiency.
Charlie Wood, CEO of Wiise, commented on the new partnership: "Our partnership with Datacom is a strategic move that aligns perfectly with our focus on serving the specific needs of New Zealand organisations by ensuring that growing NZ businesses have access to a suite of tools that are modern, scalable and cost-effective."
Aidan Jones, General Manager Business Platforms at Datacom, also highlighted the benefits: "We see Wiise as a valuable tool in helping to support scalable growth for our customers."
"The platform is both accessible and flexible, thanks to its low-code approach, which allows for easy configuration, and offers an end-to-end integrated platform that not only addresses our customers' needs but is also highly scalable, easily deployed and reduces complexity and risk for our clients."
