IT hardware and software solutions distributor ACA Pacific is marking its new presence in New Zealand with an office and demonstration facility in Rosedale, Auckland.

ACA Pacific is well-versed in the value-added distribution of IT solutions across Australia and Asia. The company’s new presence in New Zealand builds on its long-term success throughout Australia.

The company has also appointed channel sales managers ad an operations specialist.

ACA Pacific has hired a team of channel sales managers and an operations specialist. Christian Mack will lead ACA Pacific’s data storage division, while Angus Malietoa will lead the document imaging division.

The company says that its New Zealand launch will bring ‘significant’ new opportunities for local resellers, particularly in the desktop, enterprise data storage, protection and management, as well as growth markets across digital transformation, artificial intelligence, and robotic process automation (RPA).

“Throughout the years we have built-up businesses for many industry-leading vendors by creating a loyal and enabled reseller community that have benefited from our 100% channel distribution services. This move into New Zealand is a natural progression for us and our long-standing vendor partners,” says ACA Pacific founder and director HB Tan.

“Our executive team are moving quickly to roll out our proven business model of upskilling Resellers and providing collaborative sales and marketing services to support the growth of our NZ reseller partners.”

ACA Pacific’s full New Zealand portfolio currently also includes Overland Tandberg, Western Digital Enterprise, Condusiv, QLogic, Atempo, Socomec, UpGuard, Avanan and Contex.
The company’s primary focus will be to build out the market for the Kodak Alaris Document Imaging and Quantum High Performance Data Storage business units.

ACA Pacific will also be distributing Contex wide-format scanners.

Combined with the Kodak Alaris document scanners, ACA Pacific resellers will be able to provide complete digital transformation solutions which will enable customers digitise any document from a business card size to lever-arch folders to A0 plan drawings and create a true, intelligent electronic document for any business process application.

ACA Pacific is the master distributor for Quantum data storage solutions across Australia and New Zealand.

“Quantum’s experience and deep customer base in New Zealand, that includes many leading companies in media and entertainment, research, government and education, all choose Quantum for their high performance and cost-effective solutions,” says Tan.

“ACA Pacific can now build more solutions with New Zealand resellers and help customers solve their most demanding data storage problems.”
