The Outdoor Gateways are designed to meet -40C Cold Start to +60C temperature range, IP-67 environmental specs (tested to 1m submerged), In-Service SW Updates / Upgrades, robust End-to-End System Integration and Test (1000+ Power Cycles at -40C and +60C without failure to initialise or operate), and support the most comprehensive Operation, Administration - Maintenance (O-AM) tool on the market today.
TEKTELIC sales and marketing director Jack Stuart says, "TEKTELIC is pleased to partner with Access Networks to support the growth of IoT and specifically LoRaWAN deployments and projects in the New Zealand and Pacific Islands region.
TEKTELIC has an extensive portfolio of LoRaWAN gateways.
With more than 10 gateways available, starting from entry-level plug-n-play variants, right up to Carrier Grade products designed for macro-level deployments in diverse environmental conditions.
TEKTELIC's products incorporate a set of features that are common for 3G and 4G Base stations developed by Tier 1 OEMs in order to ensure low Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) starting with the initial network deployment, ongoing operation, maintenance, support and product evolution.
TEKTELIC's products are priced competitively as they have been custom-designed, and cost-optimised for volume production.
In addition, TEKTELIC has a diverse portfolio of end devices.
One of the most popular and widely deployed devices is the Smart Room Sensor, which accommodates many different sensing functions, and is easy to provision and operate, with 5-10-year battery life depending on the deployment conditions and configuration.
One of TEKTELIC's newly released devices include their Industrial GPS Asset Tracker, a high-performance tracker equipped with both GPS and LoRaWAN interfaces, designed for low battery consumption and high accuracy for common industrial applications.
TEKTELIC will support growth in this region by working with Access Networks to provide their portfolio of KONA Gateways and emerging product line and a variety of end devices that will provide LoRaWAN network connectivity in the region across many different industries.
