Dicker Data signs BitTitan to provide seamless Office 365 onboarding

15 Dec 2015

Local resellers have a new option to simplify the on-boarding of customers to Microsoft Office 365 after Dicker Data signed an ANZ distribution deal with cloud services enablement vendor BitTitan.

Dicker Data will provide BitTitan full stack of onboarding solutions from the vendor’s cloud enablement offering, MSPComplete, which includes MigrationWiz to migrate mailboxes and data from any platform, DeploymentPro, which automatically configures and on-boards existing Outlook clients to Office 365, UserActivation, and DataEncryption which encrypts Exchange data before it goes ito the cloud.

The companies say the solutions require no special training and automate the entire move to cloud, enabling partners to rapidly grow cloud services revenue and profitability with new Office 365 deployments.

David Dicker, Dicker Data chairman and chief executive, says the distributor has had ‘a lot of success’ with Microsoft Office 365 in Australia and New Zealand.

“Off the back of that success and our desire to keep in front of the competition, alliances with companies like BitTitan are crucial to ensure our partners are enabled to complete the work required to deploy the Office 365 solutions we’re providing,” Dicker says.

Dustin Ramos, BitTitan APAC MEA territory manager, says the offering will enable Dicker Data partners to provide ‘the best possible experience fo companies of any size moving from on-premises to the cloud’.

“This is just one of the ways BitTitan is enabling partners across the globe to tap into the massive potential of the rapidly growing public cloud market,” Ramos says.

“We’re providing all of the education, tools and services partners need to seamlessly sell, onboard and service Office 365 throughout a customer’s entire cloud lifecycle.

BitTitan says MSPComplete is ‘a comprehensive platform for managed service providers that helps you grow across every area of your business’.

The deal comes hard on the heels of yesterday's announcement that Dicker Data has signed to distribute Nuance in Australia.

Dicker Data will offer Nuance's license software range, including Power PDF, OmniPage, PaperPort and Dragon.
