Dimension Data headed for new heights in Lambton Quay
Dimension Data has found itself a new home, announcing it will relocate its Wellington office to Lambton Quay March 2017.
The new location, centrally positioned at Midland Park, will be introduced as Dimension Data Tower, and is will be owned and managed by Precinct Properties.
"Lambton Quay has long been one of Wellington's premier business and retail addresses and the relocation of Dimension Data reinforces this," explains Dimension Data New Zealand CEO Jo Healey.
"Dimension Data is excited to be in the centre of the activity happening in Wellington," she says.
"We are taking this opportunity to look at ways we can push the boundaries with our property in terms of technology and new ways of working.
Healey says the digital landscape, and what Dimension Data clients demand from technology, is undergoing a radical transformation.
"In order for us to meet the current and future requirements of our customers we have had to evolve too," she explains.
"We are a very different business today to what we were 16 years ago when we moved into our current location. Disruption is the word that we and our clients use. We are committed to disrupt and innovate for our clients and ourselves.
Healey says the move is a 'wonderful opportunity' for Dimension Data to realise a dynamic and agile working environment – to offer its staff and clients a 'Workspace for Tomorrow'.
"Our new premises will allow us to work differently, to give our people greater choice and flexibility, and to be able to respond more effectively to our clients' needs," Healey explains.
"We will include areas which encourage collaboration, areas for concentration and allow our team to work more dynamically from any location," she explains.
"Technology is a key enabler for change and we are excited to explore the possibilities.
"This is an incredible next step in our journey and we are excited to prepare for this move in March 2017.
